About Us
A small
blacksmith shop in Lingle, Wyoming operated by Jim Rose was
the beginning of Rose Bros. Inc, serving Wyoming and many
nearby states with parts and service. February 15, 1953, was
the date of the opening of the Massey Harris (later changed to
Massey Ferguson) dealership.
The dealership started
with about 4,000 square feet of space in the corner building
on Lingle's main street. Today, Rose Bros. occupies
approximately 19,000 square feet of building with an
additional 10 acres of land for equipment Cliff started in
1953 with the implement dealership and remembers the turning
point in 1958. "We had been really having a rough time in the
early and mid-50s. In 1958 we sold over 30 new combines and
turned the corner. Cliff passed away in 1991. Rich grew up in
Lingle, worked in his father's blacksmith shop and later
joined Rose Bros. Implements.
He retired in 1987, but
said "we are privileged to serve the best people in the world
.... our customers." Rich's son, Jeff, joined the team in 1985
after graduating from the University of Wyoming. |
